About the position

The Senior Manager, Sales Enablement at Constellation is responsible for developing and executing the retail sales enablement strategy across the C&I sales team. This role involves leading the Sales Enablement team to implement comprehensive training programs, sales content management, and tools that align with the sales process and buyer's journey. The position also includes overseeing technology activation, vendor management, and ensuring streamlined sales operations to support the organization's growth and sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of sales training programs and sales content management.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve sales performance.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leaders to align sales enablement initiatives with overall sales strategy.
  • Manage vendor relationships and maintain budget records while optimizing spending power.
  • Activate generative AI and leverage advanced sales technology to enhance sales processes.
  • Oversee sales operations to ensure accurate data management and effective sales analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 10 years of general business experience
  • Prior experience in enablement or retail energy
  • Ability to formulate and execute campaigns and sales programs
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Outstanding communication skills and adept at speaking to large groups
  • Self-motivated individual willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the energy industry, specifically electric restructuring and natural gas sales
  • 8+ years of experience in designing and improving sales skill training programs
  • Proven track record of driving impactful sales initiatives
  • In-depth knowledge of sales methodologies relevant to the retail power and gas industry.
