About the position

The Senior Manager, Sales Enablement at Constellation is responsible for developing and executing the retail sales enablement strategy across the C&I sales team. This role involves leading a team to implement comprehensive training programs, manage sales content, and provide tools that align with the sales process. The position also includes overseeing vendor relationships, managing budgets, and activating advanced sales technologies, including AI and Salesforce, to enhance sales performance. The Senior Manager will collaborate with sales leaders to ensure alignment with business goals and drive a culture of engagement and recognition within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of sales training programs and sales content management.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve sales performance.
  • Support strategic projects to drive growth and collaborate with Sales Leaders in strategic planning.
  • Oversee Salesforce Product Owner and align CRM with strategic goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships and maintain budget records, optimizing spending power.
  • Activate generative AI and leverage advanced sales technology to optimize sales processes.
  • Oversee sales operations to ensure streamlined processes and effective sales analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 10 years of general business experience
  • Prior experience in enablement or retail energy
  • Ability to formulate and execute campaigns and sales programs
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Outstanding communication skills and adept at speaking to large groups
  • Self-motivated individual willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the energy industry, specifically electric restructuring and natural gas sales
  • 8+ years of experience in designing and improving sales skill training programs
  • Proven track record of driving impactful sales initiatives
  • In-depth knowledge of sales methodologies relevant to the retail power and gas industry.
