About the position

The Senior Manager, Sales Enablement is responsible for developing and executing the retail sales enablement strategy in alignment with the organization's business goals and sales targets. This role involves leading the Sales Enablement team to implement comprehensive training programs, sales content management, and the activation of advanced sales technologies, including AI and Salesforce. The position requires collaboration with sales leaders and participation in strategic projects aimed at growth and long-term objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of sales training programs and sales content creation.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve sales performance.
  • Support strategic projects to drive growth and sales excellence in collaboration with Sales Leaders.
  • Oversee Salesforce Product Owner and align CRM with strategic goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships and maintain budget records for sales enablement initiatives.
  • Activate generative AI and leverage advanced sales technology to optimize sales processes.
  • Oversee sales operations to ensure streamlined processes and effective sales analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 10 years of general business experience
  • Prior experience in enablement or retail energy
  • Ability to formulate and execute campaigns and sales programs
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Outstanding communication skills and adept at speaking to large groups
  • Self-motivated individual willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the energy industry, specifically electric restructuring and natural gas sales
  • 8+ years of experience in designing and improving sales skill training programs
  • Proven track record of driving impactful sales initiatives
  • In-depth knowledge of sales methodologies and tools relevant to the retail power and gas industry.
