About the position

The Sr. Manager Social Commerce Activation is responsible for leading social commerce initiatives across various platforms, focusing on affiliate and creator marketing to drive revenue growth and innovation. This role shapes the digital sales strategy, manages creator relationships, and positions the brand at the forefront of social commerce trends, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-term social commerce strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Meet or exceed targets for profitable eCommerce sales and strategic objectives across all social commerce channels.
  • Lead the integration of social commerce, affiliate marketing, and creator collaborations into broader sales and marketing strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with heads of sales, marketing, product, and operations, as well as key content creators, influencers, and affiliates.
  • Oversee the analysis of key performance metrics across all social commerce channels, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
  • Lead the ideation and development of innovative social commerce features and experiences.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for social commerce, ensuring compliance with FTC guidelines and platform policies.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key platforms and stakeholders in the social commerce ecosystem.
  • Continuously optimize social commerce strategies based on performance data and emerging trends.
  • Design and implement incentive structures and tools for creators and affiliates to drive traffic and sales.
  • Manage and optimize the company's Shopify store, ensuring seamless integration with social commerce initiatives.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the company's D2C business, including customer acquisition and retention.
  • Oversee the development of D2C-exclusive products or bundles in collaboration with product and marketing teams.
  • Implement and manage CRM strategies for D2C channels to drive engagement and repeat purchases.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events as a thought leader.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' sales experience with a CPG food or beverage company.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Social and Social Commerce.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Proven track record of consistently growing eCommerce businesses.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data from multiple social commerce channels.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with content creation for shoppable posts and live shopping events.
  • Strong understanding of affiliate marketing strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, particularly in working with content creators and influencers.
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing trends across various social media platforms.
