About the position

The Senior Manager of Social Media at Claire's will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive social media strategy aimed at enhancing the brand's digital presence and engagement, particularly on TikTok. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who is well-versed in current trends and pop culture, and who can effectively collaborate with marketing and ecommerce teams to align social content with business objectives. The position offers a significant opportunity to shape the brand's voice and impact its online presence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of dynamic, captivating, and shareable content with a primary focus on TikTok, while also optimizing for Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and Facebook.
  • Drive the development of trend-driven videos and interactive content that resonate with the Gen Alpha and Gen Z audience.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to innovate and produce viral-worthy content that boosts engagement and brand visibility across all channels.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, particularly on TikTok, to ensure our content remains fresh, relevant, and impactful.
  • Identify and reach out to creators and influencers (nano to mega) for content creation and partnership opportunities.
  • Analyze performance and adjust content strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Partner with Community Management Team to understand voice of customer and outreach opportunities.
  • Establish, manage and track budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, influencer strategy, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency of social, influencer and listening platforms. Previous experience with Sprout Social preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of social media metrics and analytics.
  • Expertise in creating and optimizing content; understanding of algorithm, trends, and user behavior.
  • Proven track record in social media strategy development and execution.
  • Strong creative skills with the ability to produce engaging content.
  • Ability to stay ahead of social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in risk-taking and innovative thinking in social media campaigns.
