We are seeking a versatile professional to perform business analysis, technical project management, and scrum master duties. This role involves driving project success, facilitating agile processes, and ensuring business objectives are met through effective analysis and communication. This position will be part of the Data Platform and Managed Investing data delivery team. The team is responsible for data delivery for Managed Investing/Managed Accounts, as well as the foundation data platform for Schwab Asset Management (SAM) to enable operational consumption, Business Intelligence (BI) reporting, and Analytics. The team consists of Data Engineers, Business Intelligence Data Engineers, API Engineers, and SDETs, all working together to develop and maintain critical data pipelines and infrastructure for our Investment Management business. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day development activities such as assigned project work, running the business, and defect and bug management. You will facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning, program increment planning, and retrospectives. Additionally, you will coach and guide the teams on agile principles, practices, and tools, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Data analysis on data projects will be a key responsibility, allowing you to understand source data and consumption. You will translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements, develop and maintain requirement documentation, process flows, use cases, and user stories. Conducting gap analysis and providing actionable recommendations will also be part of your duties. You will assist the Delivery lead in overseeing the lifecycle of data projects through delivery, track project plans including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, and coordinate with the Product owner to provide guidance on requirements and support to teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years in business analysis, technical program management, and/or Scrum Master roles.
  • 5+ years' experience with software development, data analysis, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • 5+ years' experience using SQL.
  • 5+ years' experience with agile methodologies and SDLC.
  • 2+ years experience with Snowflake / Redshift.
