About the position

The Senior Manager, Software Engineering for Corporate Applications at Crown Castle will lead a team responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise Financial and Supply Chain systems. This role is pivotal in driving Financial Transformation initiatives, overseeing the design, implementation, and support of ERP, EPM, and SCM applications, while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with audit standards.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize and mature the Corporate Applications team and technology for operational excellence.
  • Drive talent management through coaching, performance management, and accountability.
  • Develop and execute a future technology vision, ensuring cost-effective systems and procedures.
  • Lead strategy and planning for technical solutions, managing transformational initiatives for successful delivery.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and stable application portfolio.
  • Ensure optimized configuration in Oracle ERP/EPM/SCM/Finance Cloud systems.
  • Minimize technical debt with a strategy for supportability.
  • Scale technology supporting Corporate Applications to achieve best practices.
  • Manage budgets, minimize variance, and optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Champion best practices in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and audit standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to execute implementation lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience with enterprise financial, supply chain, and legal systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle ERP/SCM Cloud implementation and support.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in managing functional and engineering teams.
  • Experience with large-scale on-prem/SaaS systems in financial, supply chain, HR, and legal areas.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets and project timelines.
  • Experience in an agile development environment with DevOps or CI/CD concepts.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in Oracle ERP/EPM/SCM/Financial Cloud preferred.
  • ITIL, PMP, and/or Agile Framework Certifications preferred.
