About the position

The Senior Manager, Software Engineering for Corporate Applications at Crown Castle is responsible for leading a team that manages the portfolio of enterprise Financial and Supply Chain systems. This role focuses on optimizing key business capabilities, overseeing Financial Transformation initiatives, and ensuring the effective implementation and support of ERP, EPM, and SCM applications. The position requires a strategic approach to technology management, operational excellence, and collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize and mature the Corporate Applications team and technology for operational excellence.
  • Drive talent management through coaching, performance management, and evolving team skillsets.
  • Develop and execute a future technology vision, ensuring cost-effective systems and procedures.
  • Lead strategy and planning for technical solutions, managing transformational initiatives for successful delivery.
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and stable application portfolio, optimizing configurations in Oracle ERP/EPM/SCM/Finance Cloud systems.
  • Minimize technical debt with a strategy for supportability and best practices in integrations and data management.
  • Develop budgets, manage spending, and optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Champion best practices in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and audit standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to execute all phases of the implementation lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience operating enterprise financial, supply chain, and legal systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle ERP/SCM Cloud implementation and support.
  • 5+ years of hands-on leadership experience in building and managing functional and engineering teams.
  • Experience in evaluating, selecting, contracting, and implementing large-scale on-prem/SaaS systems in financial and supply chain areas.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets and technical direction of engineering teams.
  • Experience in an agile development environment with DevOps or CI/CD concepts.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in Oracle ERP/EPM/SCM/Financial Cloud.
  • ITIL, PMP, and/or Agile Framework Certifications.
