Verint's Senior Manager, Engineering plays a pivotal role in leading one or more product engineering teams within the Workforce Management (WFM) product family. This position is designed for a dynamic leader who will drive the organization of development, quality verification, and delivery of large-scale, high-availability solutions. The Senior Manager is expected to be fluent in the latest technology trends and possess expert knowledge in system architecture, particularly using the Java technology stack. The role requires a proven ability to lead teams effectively and thrive in a fast-paced agile environment. In this role, the Senior Manager will define and lead operational plans for product infrastructure development, which includes creating new infrastructure components and expanding existing ones. The individual will manage the overall software development process, encompassing architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support. A significant aspect of this position involves leading a team of highly technical engineers through influential and inspirational leadership, which includes participating in hiring, developing, and retaining critical talent. The Senior Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality enterprise-grade solutions under aggressive timelines and within budget constraints. This includes creating processes, infrastructure, and a culture that enables a geographically dispersed team to collaborate effectively. The role also requires close partnership with Product Management, Solutions Delivery, and Operations teams, as well as managing customer escalations when necessary.
