About The Position
Supermicro is seeking a Sr Software Manager for DevOps to help create industry-defining experiences for our customers. This position will oversee the development and implementation of Python, React, and Postgres on the infrastructure domain. The ideal candidate will possess a growth mindset and a combination of insatiable curiosity, strategic vision, technical expertise, and customer obsession. This leader will be responsible for understanding the product strategy and roadmap, translating those needs into end-to-end solutions that encompass people, processes, and technology. A deep technical understanding of connecting, collecting, and managing data across many connected devices is critical for this role. The Sr Software Manager will be hands-on, a self-starter, a corporate explorer, a fast learner, and a customer champion. A progressive track record with proven ability to lead and manage change, collaborate effectively across functions, communicate with impact, and excel in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment is essential. The role requires a leader who can foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and excellence within the AI/ML team and the organization, ensuring the quality, reliability, scalability, and security of AI/ML solutions and platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing features into Supermicro's Cloud Orchestrator product. You will manage a team of frontend developers and middleware engineers, driving innovation in integrating the end-to-end lifecycle of software development processes. This includes working closely with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices, and researching new technologies will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will proposing technical solutions and leading their implementation in collaboration with Supermicro's partners.
