Verint's Senior Manager, Engineering plays a pivotal role in leading one or more product engineering teams within the Workforce Management (WFM) product family. This position is essential for organizing the development, quality verification, and delivery of large-scale, high-availability solutions. As a leader in the Engineering organization, the Senior Manager is expected to be fluent in the latest technology trends and an expert in system architecture, particularly using the Java technology stack. The role demands a proven ability to lead teams and thrive in a fast-paced agile environment, ensuring that the engineering teams are aligned with the company's mission to enhance customer experience and workforce productivity through innovative solutions. The Senior Manager will define and lead operational plans for product infrastructure development, which includes creating new infrastructure components and expanding existing ones. This involves managing the overall software development process, which encompasses architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support. The Senior Manager will lead a team of highly technical engineers, providing influential and inspirational leadership while participating in hiring, developing, and retaining critical talent. Delivering high-quality enterprise-grade solutions under aggressive timelines and within budget is a key responsibility of this role. Additionally, the Senior Manager will create processes, infrastructure, and a culture that enables a geographically dispersed team to collaborate effectively. This role requires close partnership with Product Management, Solutions Delivery, and Operations teams to ensure that customer escalations are managed effectively when needed.
