About the position

The Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Verint is responsible for leading product engineering teams within the Workforce Management (WFM) product family. This role focuses on organizing development, quality verification, and delivery of large-scale, high-availability solutions. The Senior Manager will leverage their expertise in technology trends and system architecture, particularly with the Java technology stack, to drive teams in a fast-paced agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead operational plans for product infrastructure development, creating new infrastructure components and expanding existing ones.
• Manage the overall software development process including architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
• Lead a team of highly technical engineers through influential and inspirational leadership, participating in hiring, developing, and retaining critical talent.
• Deliver high-quality enterprise-grade solutions under aggressive timelines and within budget.
• Create processes, infrastructure, and a culture that enables a geographically dispersed team to collaborate effectively and create sustained, effective technological engineering practices across multiple competing product initiatives.
• Work closely and in partnership with Product Management, Solutions Delivery, and Operations teams.
• Manage customer escalations when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of overall engineering experience including a minimum of 6 years of management and leadership experience.
• Experience building modern scalable UI using RESTful API, JS, and CSS.
• Strong leadership, project management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Expert level technical knowledge: OOP, systems architecture, Java and related frameworks, modern JScript frameworks, relational databases, CI/CD (tools and processes).
• Hands-on experience architecting and supporting highly scalable solutions.
• Good knowledge of software algorithms and design patterns.
