About the position

The Senior Manager for IT Strategic Procurement at Lucid is responsible for leading procurement engagements related to hardware and software, ensuring alignment with business strategies and operational efficiency. This role involves negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and implementing procurement strategies that support scalable technology solutions. The position emphasizes both strategic procurement and transformational leadership, focusing on optimizing costs and enhancing service delivery in the IT domain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage procurement engagements with cross-functional internal teams.
• Acquire, structure, and negotiate third-party contracts for computer hardware and software products and services.
• Serve as a strategic procurement subject matter expert, partnering with business leaders to optimize financial and operational benefits.
• Facilitate the development and maintenance of relationships with vendors/suppliers for long-term contracts.
• Establish systems and processes to enhance overall quality and compliance.
• Review, analyze, and monitor supplier contract performance and compliance.
• Negotiate and coordinate modifications to agreements as necessary.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships, tracking and analyzing vendor spend and performance.
• Manage the selection process to evaluate products based on user requirements and ensure alignment with current standards and strategy.
• Support procurement activities for IT categories, ensuring alignment with technology roadmaps and business continuity objectives.
• Implement IT procurement strategies that drive operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate IT contracts and vendor agreements to optimize costs and enhance technology capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in strategic procurement, focusing on IT categories, ideally within the automotive or technology sector.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and program management skills.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams with a collaborative leadership style.
• Proficiency in procurement tools and systems, along with advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations relevant to procurement activities.
