KalVista Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Supply Chain Inventory & Systems to oversee Inventory Management for New Product Introductions (NPIs) and Commercial Supply across our global network of Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and Third-Party Logistics (3PLs). This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of inventory and the planning of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems within the KalVista Supply Chain, particularly in the pre-launch and post-launch phases across multiple regions. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Supply Planning & Network Strategy and will be responsible for driving and supporting inventory processes, as well as establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure success. In this role, you will manage inventory, including the expiry of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), Drug Products (DP), and Finished Goods (FG) at all CDMO and 3PL locations. Your efforts will ensure consistency and availability of supply, transitioning from manual processes to system tracking and reconciliation. Collaboration with our Logistics and External Manufacturing teams will be essential to track inventory movements and on-hand stock effectively. You will lead the implementation of an ERP system, partnering with cross-functional teams to transition processes from manual to system-based operations. Additionally, you will maintain planning tools, updating inventory and demand as necessary to ensure that supply plans are current, including considerations for shelf life and expiry planning. Working closely with the Director of Supply Planning, you will generate both manual and system-based scenario plans, develop and maintain balanced scorecard measures and targets for the Supply Chain, and assist in Clinical and Expanded Access Program (EAP) supply planning as needed. Proactively identifying supply chain risks and creating mitigation plans for KalVista's commercial and clinical supply and NPIs will also be a critical aspect of your responsibilities.
