About the position

The Senior Manager of Supply Chain for the Undersea Systems Division at L3Harris is responsible for the strategic execution of the supply chain function across multiple sites. This role involves leading procurement and supply chain initiatives, ensuring compliance with policies, and driving performance metrics to enhance customer satisfaction. The position requires collaboration with various functional organizations and the development of a high-performing supply chain team, while also managing risk and facilitating supplier development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic execution of the supply chain function across multiple sites.
  • Collaborate with functional organizations to identify strategic suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Manage procurement processes and ensure alignment with policies and contract requirements.
  • Identify and execute initiatives to improve supply chain performance.
  • Select, motivate, and lead a strong supply chain team.
  • Support strategic new business pursuits as a subject matter expert.
  • Ensure deployment of risk management strategies on critical procurement efforts.
  • Manage procurement metrics to meet company goals and supplier performance objectives.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of related experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or 16 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Preferred degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience in supply chain management in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Proven experience in leading high-performing teams.
  • Solid knowledge of defense supply chain and purchasing processes, including FAR/DFARS.
  • Experience in negotiation of large complex subcontracts and agreements.
  • Ability to manage change and reengineer organizational culture.
  • Earned Value Management experience or previous Control Account Manager experience.
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of SAP S4 Hana systems.
