About the position

The Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Program (NPI) at MicroVention, Inc. is a pivotal role that involves leading program management activities with a focus on project planning and execution of cross-platform projects that impact the Supply Chain. This position is responsible for managing the program, which includes integrated planning, resource and task allocation, project scheduling, reporting, and risk management activities. The successful candidate will formulate, organize, and monitor interconnected Supply Chain projects or company projects that significantly affect the Supply Chain, such as New Product Introduction (NPI), product launches, product transfers, and changes to the distribution network. In this role, the manager will develop comprehensive project plans and associated communication documents, ensuring that project needs are identified and resources are acquired for successful project execution. Effective communication of project expectations to team members and stakeholders is crucial, as is the ability to deliver project objectives within the agreed-upon schedule. The manager will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with the project and communicating these risks to stakeholders. The position requires the development and delivery of progress reports, requirements, risks, and other documentation in line with program management office methodologies. The Sr. Manager will decide on suitable Supply Chain strategies and objectives to meet business needs, control and coordinate cross-project activities to meet deadlines, and apply change, risk, and resource management principles for successful project execution. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Product Management, Product Development, Commercial, Operations, Regulatory, Quality, and R&D, is essential to ensure successful project outcomes. Additionally, the manager will support portfolio management of initiatives governed by the Product Review Meeting and perform any additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program management activities for Supply Chain projects.

  • Apply change, risk, and resource management for successful project execution.
  • Assess program performance to maximize service levels.
  • Ensure collaboration within cross-functional teams.
  • Support portfolio management of initiatives governed by the Product Review Meeting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related business field.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Supply Chain Program Management or Supply Chain Management.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of management experience.
  • Proven understanding of supply chain management principles such as Production Planning, Purchasing, Forecasting, and Logistics.
  • Experience in S&OP process, demand planning, and inventory optimization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal and external partners.
  • Proven results in building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Supply Chain Program Manager or Supply Chain Management experience preferred.
  • Master's degree in a related business field desired.
