About the position

ModernaTX, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Systems & Reporting to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting evaluations of Chemistry, Manufacturing, & Controls (CMC) metrics and designing a comprehensive reporting dashboard aimed at enhancing data transparency. You will spearhead initiatives to refine strategic planning, optimizing processes, and digital tools to boost operational effectiveness. Your expertise will be crucial in engineering tools that address the specific needs of Portfolio Management & Operations (PM&O), focusing on project prioritization, risk management, and decision-making frameworks. You will continuously track and assess demand and supply patterns, as well as pertinent metrics, to inform business strategies. Additionally, you will direct the improvement and management of Portfolio Operations infrastructure, enhancing project management and oversight of CMC schedules. Utilizing Smartsheet for Clinical Portfolio Operations oversight and reporting will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with employing data analytics tools to evaluate complex data sets, yield insights, develop reports, and inform strategic decision-making. Establishing a goals tracker to synchronize improvement plans with program goals will be essential, as will producing and delivering succinct reports for project assessments and updating executive management with clear, actionable insights derived from complex datasets. You will enforce industry best practices to promote standardization and enhance collaboration across different operational processes. Acting as an intermediary between users and technical teams, you will interpret user needs into detailed specifications for tailored digital solutions and craft user requirement specifications to effectively translate business needs into digital application functionalities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Bioprocessing, or related field and 4 years of experience in clinical development program management for the biotechnology industry; or a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in the stated fields and 6 years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience.
  • 4 years of experience working within CMC operations (Manufacturing, Quality & Supply Chain) for biotechnology including drug manufacturing practices, product quality control and release, & product supply planning.
  • Experience in Smartsheet development for clinical portfolio oversight and reporting.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI & Power Apps.
  • Experience developing and implementing continuous improvement strategies with Operational Excellence techniques.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience in strategic planning.
