About the position

The Sr Manager, T Life Product Marketing at T-Mobile leads a team of Product Marketing Managers to develop and execute product marketing strategies for T Life. This role involves providing direction, coaching, and support to the team while ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs. The position focuses on defining marketing requirements, product positioning, and content strategy to enhance product engagement and drive downloads.

Responsibilities

  • Selects, leads and evaluates a team of Product Marketers.
  • Provides ongoing coaching, guidance and individual professional development to their team.
  • Increases sales pipeline and prospects by developing product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonate with customers.
  • Liaisons with leadership to drive the right pricing and promotional mix that meet business objectives while improving revenue and margins.
  • Coordinates the creation of product content to be used both internally and externally, including collateral, data sheets, technical briefs, whitepapers, videos and customer-facing presentations.
  • Supports team in facilitating presentations, webinars and training sessions to non-technical audiences.
  • Drives team to collaborate and build effective sales tools, training materials, FAQs that enable sales, SE's and partners to sell effectively.
  • Supports launch planning and orchestrates execution of the commercial release of new products and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy.
  • Works across the team and cross-functionally to monitor and report on the performance of products and communicate results of related sales and marketing efforts to key partners.
  • Uses business analysis and customer research to drive product strategy, develop marketing requirements, ensure product retention and support business outcomes.
  • Responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience delivering successful, comprehensive product marketing outcomes.
  • 2+ years supervisory and/or leadership experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with validated ability to drive individuals and teams toward results; capacity to effectively provide feedback and coaching, able to mentor and guide individuals and/or teams.
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies, messaging and related tactics in close collaboration with Product Management and Sales.
  • A strong technical foundation, including experience delivering segment-specific solutions.
  • Extensive customer interaction experience and customer success storytelling.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and strong content development skills (crisp messaging and compelling presentation of content).
  • Validated interaction, interface and project management with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing programs/campaigns, demand generation, field marketing and sales.
  • Knowledge of product management best practices, agile methodology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or relevant field of study such as Computer Science required.
