About the position

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager at DHL Express is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent to the organization. This role involves leveraging leadership capabilities to build strategic partnerships, ensuring compliance with policies, and utilizing the latest recruiting technologies. The position focuses on full-cycle recruiting, talent retention strategies, and fostering relationships with candidates to enhance the overall talent acquisition process.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement recruiting strategies and processes that meet the talent acquisition needs of assigned business divisions.
  • Partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to develop strategies and initiatives that improve talent retention.
  • Facilitate full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and pre-employment assessments.
  • Create and execute targeted sourcing strategies for qualified candidates through various methods.
  • Lead intake meetings with Hiring Managers to align on job search parameters.
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Present competitive candidate pools to internal stakeholders.
  • Cultivate relationships with key candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Drive the final interview process to completion and manage communication with candidates.
  • Manage applicant tracking flow and ensure compliance with company policy and applicable laws.
  • Provide guidance and training to colleagues and stakeholders on recruiting best practices.
  • Stay updated on sourcing best practices and recommend new strategies.
  • Partner with recruiters to support candidate searches and leverage resources.
  • Select and manage relationships with executive search professionals for executive hiring.
  • Identify and evaluate recruiting trends to develop innovative strategic plans.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for assertive interaction with people.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 10 years' experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years' experience in a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of US OFCCP compliance requirements.
  • Mastery of existing and emerging technologies, processes, and recruiting practices.
  • Credibility with clients and ability to lead and influence behavior change across various levels.
