About the position

The Sr. Manager of Technical Account Management at Contentstack is a strategic leadership role focused on driving customer success through effective management of the Technical Account Management (TAM) team. This position is essential for fostering strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and aligning technical solutions with business objectives. The role involves mentoring team members, implementing service strategies, and collaborating with various departments to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and mentoring a team of Technical Account Managers (TAMs) with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Defining and implementing TAM service strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Building strong client relationships as a trusted advisor and focusing on retention, renewals, and expansion opportunities
  • Driving collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to deliver seamless solutions
  • Maintaining technical expertise on our product offerings to help clients optimize their use of our services
  • Managing escalations and resolving complex technical challenges with a responsive approach
  • Continuously improving TAM processes for enhanced efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Supporting pre-sales efforts and assisting with solution architecture and service agreements
  • Providing feedback to inform product development and future enhancements

Requirements

  • 10+ years in technical account management, customer success, or related fields, with at least five years in leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Strong technical background in areas like cloud platforms, software development, and networking
  • Proven experience leading high-performing teams and resolving complex technical challenges
  • Demonstrated success with large-scale enterprise customers
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to organizational needs
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Process-driven with keen attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Willingness to travel as needed
