Responsibilities

• Understand complex technology projects, particularly those involving hardware, software, and regulatory constraints.
• Communicate effectively with external partner organizations to drive shared outcomes for Rivian.
• Make pragmatic decisions and tradeoffs to maximize the probability of meeting critical timelines.
• Navigate deep repositories of documentation to build a mental model of project work.
• Collaborate with finance to justify team budgets.
• Lead and mentor an existing team of TPMs and onboard new team members as the charter expands.
• Present options with a clear point of view for leadership to manage ambiguity.
• Drive accountability through influence rather than authority.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management on deep tech products.
• Hands-on experience with ML-based products, including evaluation with metrics-driven analysis.
• Experience in developing and shipping Autonomous Vehicle products, including simulation and evaluation.
