About the position

The Senior Manager at CompassX will lead complex strategic initiatives and transformational projects, serving as the main point of contact for clients. This role involves managing project scope, schedules, risks, and resource planning while driving technical teams to achieve measurable results. Responsibilities

  • Lead complex projects and manage communications, project scope, schedules, risks, and resource planning.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and set the direction for the team.
  • Plan, organize, track, and drive technical teams to deliver project outcomes.
  • Develop relationships to grow the firm's presence on client accounts.
  • Contribute to the growth of the firm through account management, practice areas, recruiting, mentoring, or internal initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years performing in a project manager role.
  • 10+ years of total experience.
  • 6+ years with a premier consulting firm.
  • Experience as a project or program manager on fast-paced, complex projects.
  • Ability to manage blended resource teams and achieve measurable results.
  • Hands-on approach to client delivery and detail-oriented.
  • Experience working in the Agile methodology, including planning/running sprints and leading scrum teams.
  • Technology implementation experience in areas such as data, ERP, CRM, Cloud-based Apps, e-Commerce, or other digital solutions.
  • Process optimization project experience.
  • Organizational change management or user adoption experience.
  • Ability to win project extensions and reassignments by building strong client relationships.
