About The Position

As a Region Manager for the Veterinary Sales Team at Nestlé Purina, you will lead efforts to promote Pro Plan Veterinary Diets® among veterinarians, ensuring optimal nutrition for pets. This role involves establishing business objectives, managing resources, and developing your team to achieve sales and profit goals. You will leverage your knowledge of the Nestlé Purina portfolio to identify growth opportunities and drive performance in the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience is required
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience is required

Nice To Haves

  • Outside sales experience is preferred
  • Direct sales people management is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead region business planning process with team to achieve performance objectives.
  • Develop team member's skills, promote workforce diversity and upward mobility, to achieve career development and advancement.
  • Continuously manage direct reports through performance evaluations, check-pointing progress, identifying and addressing performance issues, recognizing and reinforcing performance excellence and evaluating year-end results and performance.
  • Accurately forecast projected monthly and annual sales volume for the region.
  • Identify profitable opportunities to grow incremental sales/share by working with Veterinary clinics.
