About the position

The Sr. Manager, Walmart Field position is a leadership role focused on driving sales efforts across National Walmart field sales. The role involves overseeing a team of Regional Account Managers to implement strategies for Large Format at over 4,700 Walmart stores. The manager will be responsible for coaching team members, managing budgets, developing business relationships, and analyzing the effectiveness of promotions and programming.

Responsibilities

  • Coaching direct reports to enhance team performance.
  • Managing budgets and setting financial goals.
  • Developing productive business relationships with Walmart leadership.
  • Building joint business plans with senior leadership across Walmart Regions.
  • Performing analysis of total Walmart business to assess promotion effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management, particularly in a retail environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate business performance and promotions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in budget management and financial goal setting.

Nice-to-haves
