About the position
The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at Panduit is responsible for performing complex engineering calculations and tasks related to the design and development of manufacturing equipment, processes, and tooling. This role emphasizes adherence to engineering practices and principles to deliver optimal manufacturing solutions while ensuring compliance with quality and global standards. The position involves project management, issue resolution, and collaboration with team members to enhance manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex engineering calculations and investigations related to manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Conduct technical investigations and prioritize engineering aspects of projects.
- Develop test plans and review results with the team.
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate engineering assignments and major project components.
- Prepare reports, graphs, and summaries to communicate project progress or results.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve routine and non-routine issues, escalating problems as necessary.
- Provide and communicate technical information and manufacturing engineering recommendations.
- Guide less experienced engineers or technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
