About the position

The Sr Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in a local manufacturing company located in the Greater Milwaukee area. This position involves leveraging extensive experience in CNC machining and engineering principles to enhance manufacturing processes and ensure efficient production operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement CNC machining processes and procedures.
  • Perform hands-on CAM programming and G-code development.
  • Set up CNC machines and design fixtures for production.
  • Integrate automation systems and robotics into machining environments.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize routing and scheduling using ERP software.
  • Utilize CAD/CAM software for design and manufacturing tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
  • 7-10 years of experience in CNC machining and manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machines, G-code, cutting tools, and machining processes (milling & turning).
  • Experience with automation systems and robotic integration in machining environments.
  • Familiarity with routing development and production scheduling within ERP software (Syteline).
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Fusion, SolidWorks) and CNC control systems (Fanuc).
