About the position

The Senior Marketing Communications Specialist at Legrand will play a crucial role in managing and executing various marketing projects, including product launches, marketing campaigns, and trade shows. This remote position requires strong project management skills to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion of initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The specialist will also be responsible for developing comprehensive marketing communication strategies that encompass public relations, digital marketing, and event management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute 360 marketing communication campaigns including public relations, digital marketing, trade show events, digital events, social media, and online media.
  • Work closely with product teams to bring products to market, coordinating the launch plan and tactic development.
  • Plan and program email marketing campaigns as part of digital marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate social media topics with product marketing and write content to promote and launch campaigns.
  • Execute overall event plans related to campaigns and launches, adapting to digital events and webinars.
  • Manage and update website content in collaboration with the Digital Operations team.
  • Track, benchmark, and analyze marketing campaigns, providing recommendations for optimization.
  • Bring new ideas to the campaign program and support various business unit initiatives.
  • Plan thought leadership campaigns with a PR agency and develop comprehensive PR strategies.
  • Create promotional and marketing materials aligned with brand guidelines, managing inventory levels and production as needed.
  • Track ROI of all marketing campaigns and manage monthly expenses while tracking budget utilization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, or Marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in Marketing Communications.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide information across multiple groups.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to resolve problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook).
  • Familiarity with the B2B industry, preferably working with products.
  • Experience with marketing campaigns and execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with Marketing Directors and outside suppliers.
  • Highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.
  • Able to work calmly under pressure and implement effective solutions quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of Marketing Automation.
