As a remote-first company, this position can sit in Plano, TX or remote in the US. Alkami is seeking an experienced candidate who is creative, collaborative, innovative and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment as part of the Marketing team. In this role, you'll be the creative force behind online ads, website content, landing pages, social media, emails, short-form campaign copy, guides, blogs, video scripts, radio advertising scripts, and content related to program marketing, events, and sales. The ideal person for this role will be able to provide clear and creative messaging that aligns with our established brand.

Responsibilities

  • Create persuasive, on-brand content for Alkami's digital channels, platforms and formats
  • Communicate Alkami's tone and voice consistently
  • Appeal to specific audiences and personas
  • Draft messaging for, but not limited to: short-form campaign copy, web copy, emails, landing pages, ads that convert, headlines, engaging educational content across social and blogs, outlining content for video, and distilling complex information for lead magnets
  • Build and manage marketing communications plans for campaigns and events
  • Assist with SEO optimization
  • Proofread and edit a wide range of marketing materials for clarity, style, consistency, spelling and grammar
  • Develop project timelines with stakeholders across the centers of excellence within the marketing department for copy creation
  • Work closely with cross-departmental team members to bring copy and content ideas to life
  • Work inside project activation guides for relevant copywriting needs based on that specific project

Requirements

  • 8+ years of copywriting experience, in an agency or in-house setting
  • Experience writing copy for web, integrated multi-channel campaigns including email, blogs, social posts (for brand and/or personal), social ads, and Google ads.
  • Content creation and content strategy experience
  • Project management experience

  • Grown an organic audience on a social platform

  • Knowledge and use of AI tools like ChatGPT
