About the position

The Sr. Marketing Data Scientist role is focused on leveraging advanced analytical skills to drive marketing media analytics and support business growth. This position requires a strong understanding of marketing concepts and the ability to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders effectively. The role is 100% remote and is designed for a candidate with a robust background in statistical modeling and marketing analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex data sets to derive actionable insights for marketing strategies.
  • Develop and implement statistical models, including marketing mix modeling.
  • Communicate analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including media, creative, product, and finance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Operation Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics or related field; Ph.D. preferred.
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in marketing analytics and statistical modeling, with a focus on marketing mix modeling; 5-7 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in statistical techniques such as regression analysis, time series analysis, and predictive modeling; 3-4 years of experience required.
  • Proficiency in statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, and PBI; 3-4 years of experience required.
  • Familiarity with AWS services like SageMaker and Lambda functions; 1-2 years preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of marketing concepts, including advertising, distribution, and campaign strategies.
  • Ability to align marketing strategies with broader organizational goals.

  • Familiarity with different marketing channels and their impact on business performance.
