About the position

The Sr. Marketing Manager at BD will play a crucial role in supporting the global platform growth strategy by executing innovation and expansion activities. This position focuses on identifying unmet needs through customer insights, conducting market assessments, and leading upstream activities in collaboration with cross-functional New Product Development (NPD) teams. The role emphasizes commercial leadership and strategic planning to enhance product offerings in the medical device industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct voice of customer activities to identify unmet needs across various surgical specialties.
• Perform market research to assess global market opportunities and product concepts.
• Lead commercial initiatives for assigned innovation and NPD programs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop comprehensive product assessment plans, including financial modeling, regulatory pathways, and market access strategies.
• Generate clinical and economic evidence to support new product development plans.
• Present findings and strategies to key stakeholders at various forums.
• Foster a positive culture across teams and support leadership in assigned activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of marketing or NPD experience in the medical device industry.
• Demonstrated strategic agility and analytical mindset.
• Experience managing commercial or NPD budgets.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration abilities.
• Proven leadership capabilities and results orientation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
