About the position

The Sr. Marketing Manager - Marriage at Focus on the Family is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and communication efforts that enhance the growth of marriage and community initiatives. This role involves understanding the target audience, conducting market research, and collaborating with various teams to create effective marketing strategies that align with the organization's mission. The position requires a results-driven leader who can manage marketing initiatives and oversee a small team to achieve measurable objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the target audience of marriages in crisis and their various segments.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategic positioning of marriage initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director on product roadmaps and marketing plans.
  • Develop regional marketing plans for Hope Restored and other marriage initiatives.
  • Supervise marketing and promotional plans with measurable goals and objectives.
  • Provide strategic input into the ministry's Constituent Engagement philosophy.
  • Support the Director of Marketing and VP of Marketing with executive-level recommendations.
  • Ensure integration of internal and external marketing plans for optimal results.
  • Establish strategy and marketing plans for Hope Restored locations and other initiatives.
  • Drive traffic and conversion across various communication channels.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging with brand standards and develop campaign looks.
  • Plan and manage content creation for marketing promotions.
  • Understand essential marketing KPIs and optimize spend accordingly.
  • Support marketing efforts for marriage events and conferences.
  • Assist in the development and management of marketing budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience with increasing responsibility in marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing market-driven business strategies.
  • Proficiency with MS platforms and workflow management systems.
  • Working knowledge of data modeling and reporting tools such as Tableau.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Demonstrable experience working within a Story brand Framework.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in publishing, audio, video, or entertainment sectors.
  • Ability to design and support reporting and data dashboards.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to interface across departments.
