About the position

The Sr. Marketing Manager, Services at Splunk is responsible for driving the marketing strategy and execution for the company's portfolio of services offerings. This role focuses on educating and empowering Splunk users to leverage services for customer adoption and value realization. The manager will collaborate with various marketing functions to align services messaging with customer journeys and product adoption, ultimately enhancing customer success and Splunk's reputation in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategy for marketing campaigns to support customer success with Splunk's products and services.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute industry events and marketing campaigns to enhance Splunk's reputation and reach.
  • Identify key personas and audience segmentation based on customer insights and analytics.
  • Partner with product team leaders to create services go-to-market plans and content aligned to customer segments and use cases.
  • Support value messaging and positioning for the services portfolio and launch new offerings.
  • Communicate with key business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and manage deadlines.
  • Create digital and in-person touchpoints for customer self-service and engagement.
  • Report on results to understand audience reach and engagement.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Services Marketing, or Customer Success, preferably in a software company.
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated experience in building end-to-end campaigns.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for crafting positioning and messaging.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
  • Cross-functional collaborator contributing to overall objectives.
  • Self-starter thriving in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
