About the position

The Senior Marketing Manager at McGraw Hill is responsible for leading and executing marketing strategies and campaigns aimed at generating leads, driving growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive marketing plans that promote a portfolio of educational products, ultimately impacting educators and learners worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, strategic marketing plan for a portfolio of products.
  • Lead the go-to-market strategy and execution to exceed revenue goals.
  • Execute thought leadership campaigns and strategic lead-generation tactics.
  • Build relationships with customers and stakeholders to amplify awareness and build a pipeline.
  • Create and leverage content to support marketing campaigns, including sales tools and training materials.
  • Conduct customer and internal-facing presentations and trainings in live and virtual environments.
  • Manage and deliver virtual and live events to showcase products and services.
  • Analyze market trends and potential opportunities, participating in market research and product development.
  • Utilize data to drive decisions and share best practices with the team.
  • Participate in cross-functional workstreams and leadership opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of client-facing marketing and/or sales experience, preferably in education or technology.
  • Strong understanding of emerging marketing trends and technologies, especially Salesforce and Marketo.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and execute marketing objectives to grow market share and drive revenue.
  • Experience in managing and delivering virtual and live events.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to make data-informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with Salesforce, Asana, Qualtrics, and Zoom.
