We are currently seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to join our team. This role is pivotal in optimizing our marketing programs, driving efficiency, and supporting the broader marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for process improvement, data analysis, and marketing technology. You will be responsible for platform administration, campaign architecture and management, reporting, and analytics for our marketing programs. This position requires a strong ability to work cross-functionally and a keen interest in identifying and establishing data insights that will inform decision-making and continuously enhance performance. In this role, you will collaborate closely with marketing and revenue operations to ensure effective processes are in place for monitoring, analyzing, measuring, and reporting on the health of marketing contributions to the pipeline, program ROI, customer acquisition, and penetration. You will continuously optimize lead generation workflows, implement robust tracking mechanisms for marketing campaign performance, and establish attribution models to measure the impact of marketing initiatives on lead generation and sales outcomes. Additionally, you will manage and administer marketing automation tools such as Marketo and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring data integrity across marketing systems and providing insights to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Work hand-in-hand with marketing and revenue operations to ensure effective processes are in place to actively monitor, analyze, measure, and report the health of marketing contribution to pipeline, program ROI, customer acquisition and penetration, contact acquisition and activity.
  • Continuously optimize the lead generation workflows, ensuring seamless transitions from lead capture to nurturing and conversion.
  • Implement robust tracking mechanisms to monitor the performance of marketing campaigns across various channels and touchpoints.
  • Establish and maintain attribution models to accurately measure the impact of each marketing initiative on lead generation and sales outcomes.
  • Update and optimize lead nurturing and lead scoring programs to enhance lead quality and improve conversion rates.
  • Manage and administer marketing automation in Marketo / Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and integrations with other platforms (LinkedIn, Qualified, GoToWebinar, Demandbase, etc.).
  • Ensure data integrity across marketing systems, analyze marketing data to provide insights, and support decision-making.
  • Provide training and support to marketing team members on marketing automation platforms, processes, and best practices to ensure alignment and proficiency.
  • Audit and evaluate our marketing technology stack focusing on how to drive improved performance and efficiency through marketing operations processes and technology.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of marketing operations experience in a B2B technology company.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo, Demandbase, and data analysis tools like Looker or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels.
  • Good understanding of pipeline stages to provide reporting and analysis on what can be done to accelerate pipeline and assess what programs are helping drive closed-won revenue.
  • Expertise in campaign management standard methodologies, lead scoring, multi-touch attribution, and conversion tracking.
  • Expertise in data and analytics, including database setup and clean-up, funnel analysis, campaign ROI analysis, and pipeline reporting.
  • Understanding of other data tools like ZoomInfo, Lean Data, Qualified, Outreach, and Seamless.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $140,000 - $155,000 for California-based applicants, determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
