About the position

As a remote Senior Marketing Operations Manager at Shipt, you will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and managing high-impact projects across the organization. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of key strategic projects, ensuring they align with Shipt's objectives and are completed on time and within scope. You will serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, facilitate communication across teams, and partner with various departments to ensure cohesive project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key strategic projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, facilitating clear communication across teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage external vendor relationships and partner with legal and compliance teams as needed.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, operations, and analytics.
  • Conduct regular status meetings to monitor project progress and address challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project management efficiency.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform project decisions and optimize outcomes.
  • Provide regular performance reports to key stakeholders.
  • Partner with analytics teams to assess the performance of marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in a marketing role with exposure to multiple functions (digital, creative, campaign management, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence key stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and is comfortable owning projects.
  • Experience with marketing tools like CRM systems, automation platforms, or content management systems.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels (email, social, paid media, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while staying organized and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Expertise in writing strategic briefs and working closely with cross-functional teams.
