About the position

The Sr. Marketing Operations Manager for AWS Marketplace Demand Generation & Lifecycle Engagement will oversee BizOps and Special Funding Programs within the B2B Marketing team. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency through technology, managing forecasting and budget optimization, and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive adoption of AWS Marketplace. The position requires a blend of data analytics, business analysis, and effective communication to provide operational insights and recommendations for acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with integrated, digital, and lifecycle marketing teams to build and evolve the reporting roadmap around key measurements.
  • Own the monthly business review cycle across stakeholder teams including partner/field marketing and product marketing.
  • Streamline processes across stakeholder groups to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
  • Orchestrate and execute the annual planning process for the marketing team and broader AWS stakeholders.
  • Manage team goal-setting, forecasting, and budget & investment strategy.
  • Own and evolve Marketplace marketing development funding programs to support partner growth.
  • Represent the business and advocate for team successes, data insights, and opportunities for strategic integration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Marketing Operations, or Revenue/BizOps.
  • Experience with project management tools like Airtable, Asana, or JIRA.
  • Familiarity with a full marketing technology stack including automation tools (Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot) and CRM (SFDC).
  • Proficient in data extraction and manipulation for reporting using tools like Excel, Tableau, and SFDC.
  • Experience in modeling results, forecasting, goal-setting, and revenue planning.
  • Knowledge of measurement, analytics, and B2B marketing lead flows and attribution models.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or Graduate degree.
  • Familiarity with Agile/scrum development frameworks.
  • Code competency in languages such as Python, R, or JavaScript.
  • Experience in various B2B marketing disciplines including digital, demand generation, and product marketing.
  • Prior experience with marketplace business models.
