About the position

The Senior Marketing/Production Analyst will be a key member of the Marketing and Customer Operations Delivery team at Optum, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of email and SMS campaigns using Adobe Journey Optimizer. This role requires collaboration with marketing partners to gather requirements, provide consultation on email best practices, and manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality work in a timely manner. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy a variety of different email campaigns ranging in complexity
• Perform review of emails to ensure proper rendering and execution
• Organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and requests from multiple clients
• Ensure content changes and updates are made in a timely and accurate manner
• Integrate variable data into emails/SMS messaging
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on cross-functional projects
• Utilize solid business process and operations skills

Requirements

• 5+ years of Digital distribution experience including email and SMS/text experience
• 5+ years of experience with email marketing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Platform (specifically Adobe Journey Optimizer)
• HTML and CSS experience
• Basic proficiency with MS Word, Excel (creating tables, formulas, and Vlookups) and PowerPoint
• Responsive email design and development experience
• A/B Test design and tracking experience
• AMPscript experience

Nice-to-haves

• Undergraduate degree
• Previous experience working with project management tools and systems (Workfront)
• Adobe Customer Journey Analytics experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize deliverables
• Proven organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
• Proven excellent communication and organizational skills, including experience developing and presenting business conclusions based on data analysis
