About the position

The Sr Marketing Specialist at FORTNA plays a pivotal role in leading initiatives that bolster the MHS Conveyor brand foundation and reputation. This position is essential for enhancing market presence and industry visibility, nurturing relationships within the community, industry, and client base, and capitalizing on business development opportunities that support the company's growth and success. The role requires the creation of overarching messaging, campaigns, and communication strategies that effectively highlight value propositions for both existing clients and potential new opportunities. In this capacity, the Sr Marketing Specialist will set goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) while collaborating with the broader team to capture and communicate successes. Event planning, coordination, and execution are critical components of this role, alongside the responsibility of driving the creation and distribution of thought leadership collateral. This includes publishing in reputable sources, participating in speaking opportunities at educational and industry platforms, and utilizing digital channels for lead generation. Staying attuned to the industry and competitive landscape is imperative for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Leading cross-functional teams executing Marketing and Business Development Initiatives
  • Creating overarching messaging, campaigns, and communication direction for various channels
  • Measuring campaign results, metrics, and associated outcomes over time
  • Crafting communications including direct marketing emails (DMEs), social media posts across platforms, presentations, webinars, targeted business development emails, etc.
  • Maintaining and nurturing relationships with media contacts to capitalize on article features, interviews, press releases, award nominations, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining collateral and Marketing assets, including product Statement of Capabilities, case studies, case study snapshots, whitepapers, thought leadership pieces, blogs, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
  • Providing direction and guidance for video-based deliverables, including promotional videos, training case videos, webinar recordings, demo recordings, and smart videos
  • Reviewing and approving internal and market-facing materials to ensure cohesion to style guide and brand
  • Performing, capturing, and delivering market research and competitive analysis
  • Creating and maintaining Business Development and Sales enablement tools
  • Designing branding and campaign-related materials, including collateral, marketing assets, website management, etc.
  • Management and oversight of various day-to-day operations, including invoice reviews, providing SSOE, coaching, creation, and refinement of processes
  • Other tasks as directed as necessary to support leadership and the broader team

Requirements

  • Marketing strategy development, campaign creation and execution experience
  • Ability to perform market research and competitive analyses
  • Experience in business development, including creating BD/Sales enablement tools, and opportunity nurturing and qualification techniques
  • Experienced in creating and execution of project plans
  • Proficient in creating social media content and maintaining presence across platforms
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Competency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM systems
  • SEO competency and basic WordPress website management
  • Must have a positive and can-do attitude, be a self-starter and able to work independently as well as on a team
  • Detail oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job
