About the position

The Sr Marketing Specialist at Exelon is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing marketing plans for various company programs aimed at enhancing customer experience. This role involves collaborating with multiple departments and external agencies to execute marketing strategies effectively, particularly in areas such as energy assistance, digital tools, and solar initiatives. The position may require extended hours during emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and implement multiple marketing plans supporting Company programs with residential, business and public sector customers.
  • Develop and manage marketing plan tactics and manage marketing vendors supporting development and execution of tactics.
  • Copywriting promotional content for marketing efforts, and editing and reviewing customer communications.
  • Manage program marketing budgets including budget development, invoice processing, accruals and forecasting.
  • Help develop and leverage market research to achieve marketing plan objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or other relevant field
  • 4-7 years relevant experience or equivalent
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • In lieu of a degree, 6-9 years of relevant experience.
