About The Position

Mathnasium Learning Centers are dedicated to teaching children math in a way that they understand, master, and enjoy. Our curriculum, developed through decades of hands-on instruction, has positively impacted the lives of children since 2002. Requirements

• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
• Ability to teach effectively through at least Pre-calculus (Calculus I preferred)
• Minimum Bachelor's in a related field (Education, Mathematics, or Math-heavy degree)
• 3+ years experience working in a tutoring/teaching role
• Experience mentoring/training junior team members

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
