About the position
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in Material Flow and Packaging Innovation at Tesla, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of innovative packaging solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies and cost analyses to support your design recommendations, as well as collaborating with suppliers to source materials and components that align with our sustainability goals. Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative packaging solutions for material flow and efficiency.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in packaging or material flow.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with prototyping and testing of mechanical designs.
- Ability to conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
