About the position

The Sr. Media Specialist, SEO & Affiliate Marketing is a key member of the Paid Media team at Sally Beauty, responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing the affiliate partnership marketing strategy and SEO efforts for Sallybeauty.com. This hybrid role involves collaboration with agency partners to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and maximize ROI through effective affiliate partnerships and comprehensive SEO tactics. The position requires a proven track record in managing digital marketing campaigns, particularly in affiliate programs and SEO strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to drive traffic and increase conversion rates through affiliate partnerships and SEO tactics.
• Monitor campaign performance across affiliate marketing tactics and publishers, understanding internal KPIs.
• Manage the briefing and execution of the promotional calendar to drive in-store and online traffic.
• Partner with Affiliate account teams to optimize cashback and publisher commission rates for program performance.
• Collaborate with internal PR and Influencer teams to leverage affiliate links and commission rate offers for marketing.
• Manage SEO content projects by consulting with SEO agency partners and the ecommerce team.
• Organize and present SEO deliverables from agency partners to the Paid Media Team and Marketing department.
• Work with creative, site merchandising, and developer teams to execute page updates for SEO performance.
• Coordinate and approve creative assets for digital marketing channels.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and expansion in SEO and Affiliate marketing.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of related digital marketing experience, preferably in Retail or CPG.
• Experience in affiliate marketing and PR/Influencer marketing is strongly preferred.
• Basic SEO experience, including understanding on-page metadata and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and affiliate platforms like Commission Junction.
• Experience with SEO tools such as Conductor, BrightEdge, or SEMrush is preferred.
