About the position

The Sr. Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Services, Inc. is responsible for providing solutions to complex business and technical problems using advanced engineering principles. This role involves developing networking designs, deploying cloud-native applications, and providing technical expertise within project teams. The position requires in-depth analysis and communication with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as the implementation of Java-based microservices and complex SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to complex business and technical problems using advanced engineering principles.
• Develop networking designs to support initiatives.
• Communicate and document issues identified to both vendor and internal teams.
• Represent the group internally and externally to provide functional and technical leadership.
• Deploy cloud-native applications on Azure and utilize Azure DevOps tools.
• Design and implement Java-based microservices solutions for high volume backend processing.
• Develop applications using complex SQL queries.
• Define and deliver solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and streaming technologies.
• Work with scripting languages including Python, Java, and shell scripting.
• Utilize Microsoft Office products.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Communications.
• 2 years of experience in deploying cloud-native applications on Azure.
• Experience utilizing Azure DevOps tools.
• Experience deploying cloud-native applications on Public or Private Cloud.
• Experience designing and implementing Java-based microservices solutions for high volume backend processing.
• Experience developing applications using complex SQL queries.
• Experience defining and delivering solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and streaming technologies.
• Experience working with scripting languages including Python, Java, and shell scripting.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products.
