About the position

As the Associate Creative Director for Yahoo Mail and AOL, you will be instrumental in shaping the creative vision and executing marketing strategies that enhance these brands across various platforms. This role involves close collaboration with the Yahoo Mail and AOL teams throughout project development, from strategy creation to campaign execution, ensuring alignment with brand standards and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the creative team to develop innovative, high-impact campaigns for Yahoo Mail and AOL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute campaigns across various channels including digital display, social media, and email marketing.
  • Uphold the highest standards of creative excellence, ensuring all deliverables meet brand guidelines and effectively engage consumers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners, managing project kick-offs and ensuring success.
  • Work with marketers to craft and refine creative briefs that align with business objectives.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and shifts in the digital space to keep creative work innovative.
  • Oversee the quality control of all creative outputs, ensuring they meet or exceed Yahoo's brand guidelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a creative leadership role, ideally within the consumer tech or digital communications sector.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing successful creative campaigns across multiple channels and formats.
  • Understanding of full-funnel marketing strategies and the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Passion for consumer technology, email, and digital communication trends.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing external agency partners.
  • Exceptional project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Deep knowledge of design principles, branding, and visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.).
  • Strong presentation skills to communicate creative concepts clearly to stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset, using insights to inform effective creative decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled at building partnerships across the business and contributing to strategic planning efforts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
