About the position

As a Data and Reporting Senior Manager at Spectrum, you will lead a team responsible for complex data analysis and reporting for the Sales and Marketing organization. Your role will involve creating forecasts, reports, dashboards, and other deliverables that provide valuable insights to drive operational improvements and strategic decision-making. You will utilize advanced data analysis tools and methodologies to extract insights that support the growth of Spectrum's telecommunications business.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team responsible for reporting and analyzing various data.
• Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, and other deliverables.
• Conduct complex data analysis to support various analytic solutions.
• Identify areas of opportunity and improvement based on data trends.
• Regularly interface with senior management to produce timely results.
• Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to produce required data elements.
• Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights on operational impact and trends.
• Develop reports and deliverables for upper management and communicate with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements through quality audits and analysis.
• Create specifications for reports based on business requests.
• Identify opportunities to use data for new strategies and business performance improvements.
• Review accuracy of data and results, coaching team members to maintain high standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• 7+ years of data analysis and reporting or related experience.
• Expert knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, Power Pivots (DAX), and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate level knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, and Smartsheet.
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and identify business problems/opportunities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with all levels of management.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to document, prepare, and present data-driven presentations.
