About the position

The Sr. Manager, Global Portfolio Management Analytics at Kenvue is responsible for enhancing Project Portfolio Management (PPM) systems and analytics capabilities across the company's project portfolio. This role involves operational management of the PPM system, developing insightful reports and dashboards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the system meets evolving business needs. The position requires a strong focus on data integrity, user experience, and continuous improvement in PPM practices.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day operational responsibility for PPM system (Planisware) including user access and support, troubleshooting, testing and enhancements management.
  • Builds and publishes harmonized reports, dashboards and analytics for partners at all levels in Kenvue in support of portfolio decision making.
  • Contributes to and crafts the PPM systems roadmap, staying abreast of standard methodologies and trends in PPM systems analytics.
  • Expands portfolio analysis data capabilities through advanced data analytics such as What-if and Scenario Planning.
  • Partners with Regional and Global Portfolio Managers, Project Managers, and Business Leaders to identify system and reporting improvements.
  • Translates new business requirements into user stories and system requirements, working with IT and external vendors for enhancements.
  • Prioritizes & coordinates the work of the team through coaching and mentoring.
  • Maintains PPM knowledge management site for systems training and process documentation.
  • Drives project data integrity and quality improvements through monitoring and compliance reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant business experience, preferably in the Consumer Goods Industry.
  • 5+ years of Project Portfolio Management experience in a large, global company.
  • Experience with Enterprise Project and Portfolio management software such as Planisware, Project Server, Gensight.
  • Proven track record of collecting, analyzing and presenting impactful project portfolio data using tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with understanding of financial principles and project evaluation methods.
  • Ability to operate in a complex environment and lead discussions across multiple levels of organization.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ongoing organizational change.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Masters Degree preferred in Project/Portfolio Management, Finance, IT, or Business.
  • Previous people management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience building reports and dashboards with data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Experience managing Software vendors (contracts, POs).
  • Experience translating business needs into user stories using Agile methodology.
