About the position

As a Senior Manager in Product Management for the Content Foundations Product at Prime Video, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality metadata and video content to customers globally. This role involves managing the product lifecycle from ingestion to customer experience, collaborating with various teams to innovate and enhance content delivery, and driving the overall product vision in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the product management team and develop our people.
  • Set the overall product vision and direction for the Content Lifecycle and Enrichment space.
  • Work with engineering and science leaders to translate customer needs into workable technology and AI solutions that scale operationally.
  • Interact with customers and internal stakeholders to formulate business strategies and shape product direction.
  • Support team to define and prioritize initiatives based on a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors in different businesses and international environments.
  • Support the delivery of initiatives by working cross-functionally with designers, software development engineers, legal, finance, operations, senior management, and fellow leaders through iterative product development.
  • Manage overall cross-functional schedule, risks and issues to enable teams to be successful at delivering project milestones and public launch.
  • Support synthesis of external and internal data to drive clarity and alignment in your team through business writing such as narrative papers and PR-FAQs.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree
  • 10+ years of professional experience with 5+ years of software product management experience
  • 3+ launches from idea conception to delivery in consumer-facing online/mobile products, including at least 1 international market
  • Experience managing a team of Product Managers to deliver results and measure success
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with financial and operational analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to guide cross-functional teams through influence versus direct management
  • Experience owning and driving end-to-end product requirements across multiple technology teams.
  • Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic mode.
