About the position

The Senior Specialist Software Engineer at AT&T plays a crucial role in developing innovative features for the company's flagship customer-facing mobile application. This position involves collaboration within an agile scrum team to ensure the delivery of a seamless and robust application that meets high customer expectations. The role encompasses the entire software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support, with a strong emphasis on automation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical expert in React Native, iOS & Android Development, Node.js, and API services.
  • Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates, and create software design specifications.
  • Work with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
  • Execute a specific development methodology through various programming languages.
  • Create and execute automated test plans/strategies based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers/architects and clients to validate test environments, test data, and test results.
  • Design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results, and produce associated reporting.
  • Support applications and resolve configuration and environment issues.
  • Assist in the software deployment process.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in React Native, iOS & Android Development, and Node.js.
  • Subject matter expertise in Mobile Application development and API Services.
  • Preferred Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.
