About the position
The Sr Modem Java/Kotlin Application Software Engineer will lead the design, development, and optimization of modem log and RF scanner data log file post-processing architecture. This role involves creating and enhancing modules for data analysis, generating reports, and visualizing key performance indicators (KPIs) for various cellular technologies. The engineer will also focus on performance optimization and contribute to product enhancement to meet customer needs during commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of modem log and RF scanner data log file post-processing architecture.
- Create and enhance modules for in-depth analysis of collected data, computing key performance indicators (KPIs) for 5G SA/NSA, RedCap, LTE, VoNR/EPS-Fall/VoNR.
- Develop modules for generating comprehensive reports and visualizing KPIs.
- Continuously improve data processing speed, memory usage, and system performance.
- Contribute to overall product stability, power optimization, and support customer needs during commercialization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Java/Kotlin programming, with a strong foundation in C++.
- Deep understanding of cellular technologies (NR 5G SA/NSA, RedCap, LTE, VoNR, EPS-Fallback, VoLTE, TCP/IP).
- Experience with modem log and/or RF scanner data analysis, preferably using tools like PCTEL, Viavi, R&S, Qualcomm QXDM/QCAT, MediaTek ELT, etc.
- Proficiency in Windows/Mac application development.

- Familiarity with AI/ML development.
- Understanding of wireless network architecture.
