Koniag Management Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Sr. MS SQL Server Database Developer, MARKS Operational DBA with a Secret clearance to support KMS and our government customer in Montgomery, AL. This position is critical as it involves serving as the primary Microsoft SQL Server Database Developer and Administrator for the MARKS system. The successful candidate will manage and administer Microsoft Azure SQL Server Databases in the Azure Cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance and security of the databases. The role requires the development of databases and T-SQL code for local use, reporting, and web applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying T-SQL code and database objects in an Agile environment. Additionally, the position involves creating PowerShell scripts for auditing, maintenance, and data dictionaries, which are essential for maintaining the integrity and performance of the databases. Collaboration with application developers is also a key aspect of this role, as the incumbent will assist them with SQL issues, tuning, and object design. A Secret clearance is required for this position, reflecting the sensitive nature of the work and the need for a trustworthy individual to handle government data.
